These terms apply to the ConsulBooks public launch preview. By using the product, you agree to use it responsibly and review its bookkeeping output.

Launch-preview service
ConsulBooks currently provides a no-charge preview with transaction CSV importing, categorization assistance, review tools, bookkeeping records, and exports. Features may change as the product is prepared for paid release.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of information you upload, for reviewing suggested categories before relying on them, and for maintaining records required by your business. You must have authority to process all uploaded information.
Not professional advice
ConsulBooks is bookkeeping software. It is not a certified public accountant, tax preparer, attorney, financial adviser, or payroll provider. Software output does not replace professional advice or your review of tax filings and financial statements.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, upload unlawful material, or use ConsulBooks to commit fraud or violate another person's rights.
Availability and data
The preview is provided as available and may experience interruptions. Export important records regularly. ConsulBooks may limit or suspend access needed to protect the service, its users, or comply with law.
Payments
No subscription payment is collected in the current preview. Price, renewal, cancellation, refund, and payment-processing terms will be presented before any paid subscription can begin.
Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, ConsulBooks is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the preview, including decisions made without reviewing software-generated bookkeeping suggestions.
Updates
These terms may be updated as the product changes. Continued use after an updated version is published means the revised terms apply.
