How do I get started?
Create an account, set up your authenticator app, then connect selected U.S. bank and credit-card accounts through Plaid. CSV, OFX, and QFX statement import is available for any institution you prefer not to connect directly.
Does it post uncertain transactions automatically?
No. Low-confidence items stay in your review queue. High-confidence learned matches only auto-post when they clear the threshold you choose.
What plans are available?
You can subscribe to Starter ($12/month), Business ($24/month), or Growth ($49/month) on the Pricing page, monthly or yearly at 10% off.
Can my accountant use the records?
Yes. Create a one-time invite link in Business setup and send it to your accountant. After signing in and completing MFA, the accountant receives revocable, read-only access to an Advisor portal and can download the year's accountant package. Editing, firm staff roles, and formal close controls are not yet available.
How do I move over from QuickBooks or Xero?
Export your transactions and reports, connect your accounts here, import the history with duplicate protection, and close one month before cancelling the old subscription. The step-by-step switching guide walks through each stage.
How does ConsulBooks categorize transactions?
Your private vendor rules and conservative categorization run on every transaction. AI suggestions are optional and off until you turn them on; a suggestion from the model alone always waits for your review before it posts.
